JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Web Marketer is directly responsible for prospecting new clients and managing and maintaining those accounts as part of the direct sales team. However; this is NOT a slash and burn outside sales position and there will be NO COLD CALLING! This individual will be an experienced salesperson ideally with a background in Sales Engineering or Financial Consulting. We are looking for an energetic or young self-starter who is proactive in driving revenue, increasing his or her client base and providing small to medium sized businesses with the right blend of marketing consultancy. You must be results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities in a dynamic marketplace. Building high-level relationships with all potential clients will be expected through social networking and constant email exchange and instant messaging.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Functions below may be performed from home office / telecommuting:

1. Prospect small to medium businesses through email blasts and single, personalized emails without using SPAM techniques or being flagged as junkmail.
2. Communicate results of Free Analyses and Ranking Reports to leads that fill out the form on our website.
3. Develop, with SEO and Web teams, ongoing improvements to the process of prospecting, qualifying and closing key accounts.
4. Work with SEO technicians to effectively manage accounts, delivering superior customer service while maintaining and growing account services.
5. Work without direct supervision.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. Must ideally have some knowledge of web / online media sales or must previously have held a position as either a Sales Engineer or Financial Consultant.
2. EITHER a Proven sales track record in financial consulting or sales engineering OR no sales experience, but a thorough understanding of the relationship / consultative sales model and approach. If the latter; must be familiar with David Lill's "Selling: The Profession," Bill Bachrach's "Values Based Selling," and anything by Tom Hopkins or Zig Zigler.
3. Strong knowledge of Google and Social Media/Social Networking/Bookmarking websites like Twitter.
4. Experience in converting Microsoft Word documents to Adobe .pdf format.
5. Ability to work without direction and follow training materials without supervision.
6. Must be proficient with Windows Vista, Outlook 2007, Word 2007, Excel 2007 or 2003, Firefox, Myspace, Facebook, Linkedin, and a major third party email provider such as Gmail.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

A.S. /B.A OR Experienced in the consultative / relationship sales model.

DETAILED DUTIES:

The Web Marketer will perform all typical duties required as an Account Executive or Account Manager. Web Marketer will be required to maintain a computer with internet access at all times, a cellular (mobile) or VOIP phone, Windows XP or Vista, Microsoft Office 2007 Professional or Office 2003 Business for Windows or Office 2008 for Mac, Adobe Acrobat, Mozilla Firefox web browser, and any other computer programs or software as required by the position. (A MagicJack is not an acceptable form of VOIP.) Web Marketer may access internet anywhere such as WiFi Hotspots. Company will provide all necessary software and computer programs as required as well as marketing collateral such as business cards and brochures, but retains the option to provide a computer or internet access. Web Marketer will respond to emails within 24 hours of receipt unless extenuating circumstances shall arise. The majority of work performed will be proffering Company’s services to small and medium-sized business across the United States, Canada, Australia, the UK, Israel, and South America while utilizing the tools provided by Company to aid in this process. All tools and training materials regarding this process may be located at searchenginepartner.com/resellers. Web Marketer will abide by all company policies, for example, using current versions of proposals only when requested by prospective buyers and not using company email for sending sales or solicitation emails.

Company will provide prospective buyers with answers to technical questions. Once a prospective buyer is converted to a client, Web Marketer will act as an Account Manager in coordinating and relaying any concerns the client may have to the Company.

DETAILED COMPENSATION:

100% Commission based for the first three (3) months or 90 days after the training period, at which time Company reserves the option to either hire Web Marketer as Account Manager with a base salary replacing commissions, or extend the commission structure in B, below, until renewal or expiration of this agreement, unless terminated by either party. At the conclusion of the 90 day period, if Web Marketer does meet the requirements as set forth below, Company may renew this agreement for another 3 month or 90 day period.

Training Period. There will be a 1 month (30 day) training period before the Web Marketer will begin schedule below will apply.

A. Employment: A base salary will be paid to Employee incrementally as follows:

If Web Marketer refers between three (3) and four (4) new prospects who are successfully converted to clients per month or twelve (12) new prospects over 3 months or 90 days, Company shall hire Web Marketer as an employee and pay a salary of $45,000 per year, for the services of the Employee, payable at regular payroll periods.

If Web Marketer refers between five (5) and six (6) new prospects who are successfully converted to clients per month or eighteen (18) new prospects over 3 months or 90 days, Company shall hire Web Marketer as an employee and pay a salary of $65,000 per year, for the services of the Employee, payable at regular payroll periods.

If Web Marketer refers between seven (7) and eight (8) new prospects who are successfully converted to clients per month or twenty-four (24) new prospects over 3 months or 90 days, Company shall hire Web Marketer as an employee and pay a salary of $85,000 per year, for the services of the Employee, payable at regular payroll periods.

If Web Marketer refers more than ten (10) new prospects who are successfully converted to clients per month or thirty (30) new prospects over 3 months or 90 days, Company shall hire Web Marketer as an employee and pay a salary of $110,000 per year, for the services of the Employee, payable at regular payroll periods.

Employment is intended to compensate Web Marketer for servicing clients referred to Company in the respect of Account Manager.

If Web Marketer does not meet the above requirements and is no longer eligible to be employed by Company, the Commission structure below shall continue and control until this agreement is renewed or terminated.

B. Commissions: Commissions are paid as soon as the payment from client clears with a minimum of three (3) days between checks. Commission structure is as follows:
50% breakeven point (BEP) profit split on all products or services sold in favor of Web Marketer or 25% of the total price, whichever is greater.

The reason we decided to offer this backend web design internship is that our turnover rate for backend web designers has been extremely high. At this time we are trying to prequalify applicants for a full time backend web design and/or development position by offering this internship.
